After returning to Los Angeles from a week at home in San Francisco, it seemed fitting to head to the beach this morning. I did my usual walk from Venice Beach Pier to Santa Monica to Will Rogers Beach and back. Beautiful, clear day. Great way to bring in t
he new year. Lots of tourist out, taking in Southern California in the Winter. The beach was full of life, as we brought in the new year.

Considering all the rain we've had - it was clear, crisp, sunny day for a Parade (and to show off Southern California to the world).
Tomorrow Stanford begins the Pac 10 league at Cal. Next weekend USC plays at UCLA. Women's basketball is in session ! Yes!
Im getting my head wrapped around beginning the new year with my LCSW, and how the next months will roll out. A moment at a time ... Mindfully. God is leading me ... The possibilities are endless, and Im eager to see what all 2011 has to offer.

My aunt and I spent Thursday together ... we had breakfast at The Cliff House (with my Marion and John), overlooking the ocean ... then drove through by the Legion of Honor and down into the Presidio and across the Golden Gate Bridge. arin's Vista Point and then drove up Marin Headlands. The view was spectacular. We spent the afternoon in Sausalito. We strolled along Sausalito's scenic downtown streets, taking in the delicious assortment of shops, art galleries, fine dining restaurants, cafes and bistros ... and a stunning view of the Bay, and downtown San Francisco. The weather was clear, sunny ... after the rain and wind of preceding days. Good time with my aunt -- )
